ABOUT ME

Jorge Hurtado, AKA uhnomaly, is a Chicago based digital creative. With a formal education in Graphic Design as a foundation, his works progressed from 2D into the 3D world in an almost natural evolutionary way. Through a combination of commercial client work and self-discovery art pieces, he began to realize the separation between the two and how to balance them. Curiosity continuously fueled the journey by wondering how he can bring his own personal art and design to the next level. Primarily working with 3D software like Cinema4D he’s able to push a new breathe into his works. His styles currently explore the lenses of sci-fi fantasy, surreal landscapes, and abstract geometry. While progressing his career he has expanded his skillset into the world of VJing. Through this avenue he has been given opportunities to perform and display his works alongside musical acts and stand-alone art installations. Now, he finds himself creating for self-fulfillment while also accepting the task of bringing to life other peoples visions.
